Once title passes to the LP, they have a 5
year building commitment. The home must be at least
1,200 square feet on the main floor. There will also be
additional industry standard building regulations. If
the building commitment is not met then ALDL has the
right to buy back the lot at 85% of the appraised
amount. ALDL is not obligated to do so. If the LP
wishes to sell the lot, at the GP's option, may buy it
from the LP at 85% of the appraised amount. This
ensures that we can manage the market for the lots when
we are selling to the public.
