Moderate Temperatures
For comparison purposes we have provided
weather and climate charts for Kelowna, BC and Nakusp,
BC. Nakusp is 57 km south of Galena Bay on the same
lake (Upper Arrow Lake) and has similar weather as
Galena Bay. This information is provided by The Weather
Network (www.theweathernetwork.com).
Overall the average temperature at Galena Bay will be
2°C cooler than Kelowna.
In July, August, and September it will be sunny 60% of
the time in Galena Bay and sunny 70% of the time in
Kelowna.
The charts do not show it, but the spikes in summer
temperatures will be much more extreme in Kelowna than
in Galena Bay.
